The Shark Tank Pitch

Rebecca Dallman and Jena Butler turned the Tank into an unboxing party when they sought $400,000 for 10% of Fundelivered. Their mystery boxes combine unclaimed packages, customer returns, and overstock into an entertainment experience, with each item individually wrapped to preserve the surprise.

The Sharks opened an eclectic assortment of products, giving the founders an immediate demonstration of the laughter and curiosity that drive their business. Their bestselling party box contained 25 items and sold for about $230, with inventory costing roughly $4 to $5 per item.

What initially looked like a novelty became a serious investment conversation when the founders revealed $14 million in lifetime sales, 1.8 million social media followers, and no spending on paid advertising. Annual sales had climbed from $400,000 in 2021 to $5.05 million in the most recent year, when the company earned $950,000 in net income.

Repeat customers accounted for about 20% of current-year sales, and the team had recently doubled its warehouse space. The founders also saw an opportunity to work directly with brands that wanted their products discovered through unboxing.

Kevin O’Leary questioned the lack of defensibility and passed, but Lori Greiner proposed joining forces with MrBeast and Jeff Housenbold. Their opening offer was $400,000 for 20%.

Daniel Lubetzky tried to get involved, leading to discussion of a larger $600,000 deal for 30%. The founders countered at $600,000 for 24%, and MrBeast accepted that valuation while restructuring the partnership to include Lori and Team Beast without Daniel.

The final agreement was $600,000 for 24%, with Lori providing $300,000 and MrBeast and Housenbold’s team providing the other $300,000.

Where Are They Now?

Weekly product drops remain central to Fundelivered’s online business following the broadcast. Its website advertises Friday restocks at noon Eastern, free U.S. shipping, and a Party Box priced at $229.99 on sale against a regular price of $249.99.

Individually wrapped unclaimed packages, returns, and overstock are still the basis of the offering, with the company presenting the boxes as entertainment for parties, date nights, game nights, and social media videos. The site prominently highlights Shark Tank, while the selling format remains consistent with the business Rebecca Dallman and Jena Butler described on the show.

The agreement with Lori Greiner and Team Beast creates an opportunity to reach a larger audience, but the founders have not yet publicly quantified the broadcast’s effect on orders.
